Thefirst bridge I walked across was Yanagibashi Bridge, a pre-war built classical short bridge crossing the Kanda gawa (river) at the point short steps before it joins the Sumida gawa.
Thereare many yakata-bune (houseboat for river cruising over meals and drinks) mooring along the Kanda gawa banks. Their price lists are affixed on the crew sheds say mostly chartered fare, but some sheds run two hours thirty minutes “omnibus” cruises for ￥11,000 per head. (To be continued)
