Read an essay “Kanzei no karakuri by Junichi Watanabe -関税のからくり、渡辺淳一” This is a short work and he critically observes complexity of customs duty and tariff levying to passengers’ possession, souvenir. He tells he and his friends returned from abroad and declared respective possessions. Friend A declared 260,000 yen and was collected 12,000 yen, while Friend B declared 150,000 and was collected 20,000. And the story is rolling on to the end.
