顔本の猫キチグループのメンバーになっています。我が家では細君が猫嫌いなので飼えません。もっぱら投稿される猫の写真と猫キチの猫可愛がりメッセージを楽しんでおります。
そのな訳で滅多に投稿しないのですが、昨日写真に“A
stray cat stays on its shelter built by its old lady fans. Some women in this housing complex donate food to the cat when it gets dark for fear of being spotted by UR officials. So the shelter turns into an altar. Cats are gods in Egypt as well as Kameari UR Housing Complex.”
と一文添えて投稿しました。

一日中在宅で外に出たのはごみ捨てだけであった。
細君が俳壇にチェックをつけて回してよこした。

今日のコチコチ読書は、
Underwater senses － Navy seals （The Economist August 11th 2018 海洋生物(アザラシ)の知覚と潜水艦探知）
でした。３分の２くらい読み終わりましたが、アザラシの髭の感知力を潜水艦の発見器に応用しようと云う話だ。流体力学用語多いので難解でござる。出だしまでだなあ！
Pinniped whiskers provide a model for a new generation of submarine detectors
Vision is useless in murky water. To deal with that deficiency dolphings have evolved sonar. They emit clicks and interpret the echoes to find their prey. But not all marine mammals are so equipped. Seals, for instance, have no sonar, yet that does not stop them finding distant meals as effectively as dolphins can. This puzzled researchers for years, until they discovered that the secret lies in the animals’ whiskers － which they are now trying to copy, to develop novel underwater sensors.
