Food safety authority alerted kidney bean from Argentine and Rice Paddy Herb from Vietnam
The authority alerted that kidney beans because it has identified, aflatoxin, AFT, a controlled substance by Food Sanitation Act, from the shipment coming from Argentine. The authority also identified lufenuron, another controlled substance and other controlled substances, from the Rice Paddy Herb coming from Vietnam. The authority has determined mandatory inspection against the inbound shipments of the items from respective countries.

CTB announces the safeguard items clearance volume by the end of April
The volume of imported safeguarded items or Tariff Quota items, have been monitored and the figures have been shared at the Safeguard portal. The portal provides the cleared amounts out of allocated amounts by respective EPSs and by the items at the end of previous month.
