FYI: Pursuant to the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act, andCustoms Administrative Order 1-2017 issued by the Commissioner of Customs andapproved by the Secretary of Finance, all passengers and crew members mustaccomplish a Customs Baggage Declaration Form(CBDF) and submit it to a CustomsOfficer. Airline operators have been notified of this requirement and have beenrequested to distribute the CBDF on board the aircraft before landing. Pleaseinform your friends and relatives about this Customs.

Import Trend analysis Fresh grapes

Tokyo Customs Statistics Section has shared its trade trend analysisperiodically, and the office takes on fresh grapes in HS 0806.10.

The report says the import of the stuff has been steadily increasing since 2010and the imported volume is 37,000 tons and declaration value is more than12billion JP Yen.

Fresh grapes are imported mostly from the United States, Australia and Chile in2018. Australia and Chile are enjoying EPT tariff in certain months in a year.
