Import Trend analysis – wine and whisky
Tokyo Customs Statistics Section has shared its trade trend analysis periodically, and the office takes on wine HS 2204.10-000, HS 2204.21-020 and whisky HS2208.30
The report says that wine import has been steadily increasing by value and by volume. And European wine has gaining the market share by taking advantage of duty removal having started Feb. 2019 when EU-JP EPA enacted.
