Train ad beauty

The drawing is a firefighting woman on the home front at the time of World War 2, representing an indirect advertisement for a women’s college. The subtle message being implied in it is that the founding mother of the college had fought for the equal opportunities for women even in the era of the hardship.

The face of the drawn woman is a contemporary beauty, and it is not a beauty of the era. The concept of beauty has been fluid and contemporary “unique” ladies may have chances, as time flies tremendous speed.
