Tateishi in Katsyshika ward is a true dead end town of Tokyo’s east end and has the air of gone days of lower down’s working class comradeship, poverty and shabbiness. So some of foreigners who proud themselves as Tokyo aficionada (or Otaku), but have not stepped into the maze, should visit there for filling one piece of jigsaw into your art work. ???
The rail station is Tateishi on Keisei Line and it is 15 minutes from Asakusa. Rapid and express trains do not stop at this station, of course.??
