Tariff Council approves CTB’s policy-setting for FY2021
It includes the expansion of duty and tax payment means to credit cards, and the relaxation of the necessary conditions for maintaining the clearance related records in electronic medium. The approved measures are integrated into the bills, which are to be filed to Parliament.

MHWL releases Labor Market (payment) Statistics for October 2020
Ministry of Health Welfare and Labor (MHWL)releases the statistics as under, saying that the payment for full time workers decreased by 1.4% and for part time workers it decreased by 0.4%, and part time worker’s hourly wage rose 2.0% when they are compared with the same month in2019.

Malaysian Government determines to AEO implementation
“Malaysian government recently announced in the National Budget 2021, the implementation of a NATIONAL AEO PROGRAMME with the inclusion of all government agencies at the border dealing with import/export matters (about 40 agencies). It is definitely one of its kind and a first step moving forward towards a compliant economy. It is also about Malaysian Customs commitment in implementing Pillar 3 of the WCO SAFE Framework of Standards and the AEO 2.0. I believe this is the beginning of an exciting and challenging journey. “
