The Mannen Bashi bridge and my high school

Yesterday afternoon, I went to the bridge crossing the Onagi cannal at the very last point where the canal joins the Sumida Gawa River. The bridge was built in 1930. Its steel structure has profound feeling as well as nostalgic.

My high school which was established in 1900 is not far from the bridge and I visited it first time since I graduated in 1970. I asked one of my junior in school to take my photo beside the school plate.

Just that, nothing more.
