Book fair at Shinbashi

Shinbashi read and old books fair is being held at Steam Locomotive Square (SL Hiroba) of JR Shinbashi station from today to Friday . I went there at lunch time. There are dozens of tent shops selling from inexpensive paperback edition books (bunko ? bon) to expensive old collectors’ items. In addition to the printed matters, some are selling music and visual CDs of last and beyond decades.

I bought 8 paperbacks for ￥1,200 and I may be a modest BAKUBAI when it is compared with some people who are packing books into large sized plastic bags. However, I couldn’t find a shop selling English or other foreign languages books in the square.
