Yesterday morning, this writer got off a train at Keisei Nakaya station on the way to Narita Airport for attending METI’s Export Trade Control Order Seminar which starts at 1330 hours.

He intended to visit a temple near the station which is Hokekyou-ji. The temple is not very famous countrywide, but it was established in the 15th century and retains several structures dating back to Edo era. Its old gates, a tower and nave are beautiful and several amateur artists are holding their sketchbooks at their best vantage points. As it is not so famous, there are people sparsely and it is quiet. There is no fee to be collected at the gate. It is an advisable spot to use your extra one hour for strolling.
