昨日買った年賀葉書に宛名を書いた。添え書きは暗くなってからゆっくりと書くことにしよう。
年賀状というのは、どうも、懐旧で宜しくない。
洗濯を致す。また部屋干しだ。
今日は外出せず。

Well, it had been really tough over the last 18 months, and ???(1)??? cost of materials over the last year had increased by 24%. But there had been huge variation, timber, for example, had increased by 73%. And in many cases, the builder had absorbed that cost because they had agreed the fix price with the client. And I know some of my members have gone out of business because of cash flow problems because of that very issue. So what we are advising those to do now is to insert flexibility clause into the contract. So the builders will need to explain that to the house holders to say, yes this is the fix price but if the cost of materials go up by X%, I will come back to you to explain that and will ???(2)??? have to look at the extra cost. Because, otherwise, the builders will go out of business, particularly small ones. And they have done so far. So the cost of materials is major issue for both the builder and the consumer.

年賀状の添え書きをした。顔本でよく“いいね”を入れてくれるｉさんには「いつも励ましの“いいね”をありがとうございます。本年もよろしく」にしようか。Ｋさんにはあまり書くことがない。困った。Ｋさんは多趣味で多芸だから「散歩のほかにやることもなく、無趣味、無芸がこたえてきましたよ。」としてみた。N先輩にもこれと言ってないなあ。飲みたがっているので予防線を張っておこう。「短期間ではありましたが二度ほど入院いたしました。何はさておき健康ですね。」。上司でお世話になったOさんには近況を書くのが通例だが、代わり映えがしない。「ありがたいことに基本在宅と云うことでお世話になっています。ここまで来られたことをありがたく思っております。ありがとうございます。」にした。上司で高齢独居のＳさんには何と書こうか。添え書きは難しい。
