昨日、ふと顔本の英会話喫茶の広告を開いてしまったら、英会話教室の広告だらけになってしまった。人工知能かも知れないが、もう少し知恵がないものだろうか？どこも月一万円くらいに費用を設定しているらしい。今の世の中podcast.tube.など等々あり読む、聴くは金を遣わずいくらでもできる。が、時間を遣わずに英語を習得するのは困難だ。
一万円払うのはそこで私は英語を勉強しているのだという自己満足を得るのか？自習の積み重ねの確認なのかな？モチベーションの維持費と云うなら、それなら解る。

細君に元CAのTEL友から電話が入ったらしい。３０分くらい話していたが、妹にしろ、元CAにしろ、クラスメートにしろみんな何となく起こりっぽくなっているそうだ。流行り病と世界情勢がそうさせるのかな。因みにスッチーは団地のコーラスグループが、マスクをしているとはいえ、集会所で練習をしていたのがけしからんと腹を立てていたそうである。
午後は雨天につき、机で過ごす。
戯れに、

を英訳してみようかと思い立った。先ず、これをそっくりそのままGoogleの翻訳にぶちこんだら、

これをベースに自分なりの英語に仕立て直したら以下の通りとなった。

It is possible to get the skill without spending money, though it is difficult to learn English without spending time.
Presumably, that 10,000 yen is not for improvement but expenses for motivating oneself and to keep making effort.》
