The year 2014 is passing
Although I am retired I am very busy
Maybe I am also more tired.
I am studying history at the local university
That is deeply interesting and good for mind
We can see that the economic situation in Europe and in Japan becomes more and more worrying
I am afraid of big upheavals which could come.

蕪村の句を読んで、フランスのロリオ氏から年末に頂いた大変動を予言するメールを思い出した。
筆者を含め、多く方々はいつか鐘がつかれることを知らずに鐘にとまる「胡てふ」なのかもしれない。
