停電があるやも知れずとのことでいろいろな家事が前倒しに、或は風呂掃除のように水の確保のために後送りに、なった。

先ずは洗濯、細君は飯炊きだ。さかんに冷蔵庫の中身の心配をしているが、この季節一日くらい電源が切れても後で煮たり焼いたりすれば喰えない筈がない。「これから先の世の中、それくらいの物が喰えないと生きて行けないよ。」と申すと、「すぐに話を暗くする。」と怒りだした。

１１時半ころ細君が窓辺で呼ぶ。行ってみると雨が霙に変わっていた。

霙に間違いない。この寒さで電力の消費が増え、逼迫するとのことだ。
『東京電力によりますと、本日22日、朝から電力供給が非常に厳しい状況となっております。
ご家庭や職場などにおいて、不要な照明を消し、暖房温度の設定を20度とするなど、可能な範囲で節電にご協力いただきますようお願いいたします。』

霙が降っている。外出せずに借りてきた『懐かしの都電４１路線を歩く－石堂秀夫』を捲る。２３系統福神橋－月島に乗って高校へ通学したので先ずはそこをコチコチいたそう。

I got the email before noon.
Sleet is falling. I turn over "Walking the Nostalgic Toden 41 Lines by Hideo Ishido" that I borrowed from the City Library without going out. Line No.23 that ran between Fukujinbashi and Tsykishima, I used it for going to the high school nearly 60 years ago
